Wood’s Professional Blogs

I’ve been working with credit unions since 2011, having directly helped members with their account management, provided budget and credit counseling, coached them through the lending process, as well as car and home buying, and offered a lot of overall financial education, so it makes sense that most of the blogs here are on financial topics.

When I moved away from member service into marketing, I had to find a way to still feel that same sense of purpose; of helping others learn how to be financially independent, because that was knowledge I never got until I was 21, learning it all on the job. That’s what you’ll read about mostly below, at least for now. Sprinkled throughout, you’ll find articles that are more lifestyle topics, as well as a few profiles I’ve done on local nonprofits where I’ve been privileged enough to spend time volunteering.

Here’s a collection of the best blogs that I’ve written.

Or at least my favorite.

I’m a firm believer in not hoarding knowledge. When you’ve learned something useful that could help make someone else’s life better, share.
Unless it’s like, trade secrets or spy stuff.
